Azadi
Freedom

Hai Kis Ki Ye Juraat Ke Musalman Ko Toke
Hurriyat-e-Afkar Ki Naimat Hai Khudadad

The right of thinking free, a Muslim owns,
Is gift of God which canʹt be checked by frowns.

Chahe To Kare Kaabe Ko Aatish Kuda-e-Paaras
Chahe To Kare Iss Mein Farangi Sanam Abad

He can transform the Shrine to Magian fane,
Can deck the Shrine with Frankish idols vain.

Quran Ko Bazeecha-e-Taveel Bana Kar
Chahe To Khud Ek Taza Shariat Kare Ijad

Can make the Holy Book the sport of boys,
And can with ease devise new faiths like toys.

Hai Mamlikat-e-Hind Mein Ek Tarfa Tamasha
Islam Hai Mehboos, Musalman Hai Azad!

In India queer and odd the farce you see,
The Faith is captive, but the Muslims free.

      yes bro iqbal detected the problom of muslim ummah after understanding problom you can eradicate corrupt and evil belief from ummah
      you have learned from this poem
      (i) muslims country adopting diffrent system from the west whereas muslim had to choose sharia (god rule)
      (ii) iqbal also addressimg major problom in the muslim sect, they try to interpret the quran according to their belief or assumption ,
