Iqbal is a good advisor, fascinates the heart in moments
He did become hero in talk, but one in deeds he could not be.

    I love this poem of Iqbal.I knew the verse Masjid to bana di shab bhar mein,Iman ki hararat walon ne
    mann apna purana papi hai,barson se namazi ban na saka.I copied the remaining verses from here.
    I wish I knew the inner meaning.Now I feel the task before me is to read it until I can deduce the meaning.
    I think I heard from my sister that Iqbal was referring to the mosque built in Washington.If someone knows,please let me know.Thanks.

      it was a mosque dont know where shab bhar means night . story begins as there was a ground which where a religious place was to be built.muslims wants to built mosque but hindus said that there should be a temple so they decided

      jo bhi pehle yahan apna holy place banae ga to ye jaga uski musalmaanaon ne din raat aik kardi aur bana dali masjid hindoon ko jana para jaga chor kar jab iqbal aya masjid mein to ye dekh kar heran hua k rash nahi hai to phir ye sher aya

      These are people who have load of lmaan in their heart.

      Our heart being old sinner for years devout could not be, which means yet we know that is must for every muslim to go for Salaat but nobody goes only few people go to Masjid everyday. He is showing the real face of muslims where they are lacking behind.

      Shab bhar means it is not a Masjid in Lahore.

      It means be practical not theoretical.Every thing has condition.Simply making building and walking in the school all the way can not give u the degree but u must go through the examination for passing it.

      THE POEM IS DEEPER THAN WHAT YOU HAVE COMPREHENDED. IT IS THE PHILOSOPHY OF HUMAN HEART VS HUMAN SOCIAL INTERACTION. IQBAL WAS ALWAYS FOR THE INNER SELF BUILD UP. HE HAS ALWAYS EXPRESSED THE TWO SIDED NATURE OF HUMAN BEING. ONE FOR HIMSELF AND ONE FOR OTHER. I WILL EXPRESS THE ENTIRE POEM TO YOU WHEN I HAVE AMPLE TIME.

    Its a mosque in Lahore near Shah Alami, Anarkali.

      Masjid is a symbol of religious rituals which can not be meaningful if honesty of character and sincerity of purpose are not exercised in practical life. Saqi nama in bal e jibreel is also excellent.

    Kya Lafz " Ameer e Faisal" hay ya "Ameer e Faseel" hay. Urdu may tou "Faseel" lag raha hay upar text may. Please correct me if I am wrong?

    Masjid yaani ALLAH Ka ghar woh koyi paticular nahi hai balki har Momeen Ka Dil ALLAH ka ghar hai aur ek aam Insaan apne Nazariye se apne aap ko Muslim ya Momeen samajhta hai aur uss Dil ko ALLAMA IQBAL SAHAB ne paapi kaha jis dil mein ALLAH ne muqaam nahi kiya Masjid bana di shab bhar mein Imaan ki Hararat walon ne yaani ek imarat khadi karna badi baat nahi balki badi baat hai apne ALLAH ko uss dil mein banana jo ki duniya ki gandagi se paapi bana hua hai

      Great understanding. Namazi means true love for God Who is truth and uswa e hasana. The secret of getting rid of materialistic desires and temptations is to exercise truth honesty and sincerity in practical life.

      It is referring to Faisal Husein from Arab, who was a puupet in the hands of Britishers and bureaucrats who used him to destroy the Islamic Khilafat. He was from Hijaz (The mountain region near the western shore of Arab in which cities like Mecca and madina are also there), he was not loyal to the people of Hijaz.

    This masjid about which the Allama Iqbal is talking,is situated on the road side in Lahore Pakistan at "Shah Alam Market Chowk". it's a small masjid in White colour.

      It is about faizal weichmann agreement by which the saudi(arab) prince sold the place of bait el muqaddas to the britishers in hope of getting the Iraq oil field.
