(Bal-e-Jibril-071) Ki Haq Se Farishton Ne Iqbal Ki Ghamazi

Ki Haq Se Farishton Ne Iqbal Ki Ghammazi
Gustakh Hai, Karta Hai Fitrat Ki Hina Bandi

To God the angels did complain ʹGainst Iqbal and did say
That rude and insolent is he, Nature he paints much brightly.

Khaki Hai Magar Iss Ke Andaz Hain Aflaki
Rumi Hai Na Shami Hai, Kashi Na Samarqandi

Though born of mud and water, yet a god assumes to be:
Not bound to any home or land, of earthly ties is free.
Sikhlayi Farishton Ko Adam Ki Tarap Iss Ne
Adam Ko Sikhata Hai Adaab-e-Khudawandi!

To throngs of Heaven he has taught, like man, to fret and pine.
To clay‐made man he fain would teach the wont and mode divine.

  4. My humble try:(meaning taken from Kulyat e Iqbal)..Ghamazi mutlub Chughli kerna. Hina bundi-mehndi lagana. Andaaz hain aflaki- andaz Asmano ko taskheer kertay hain...Toh woh keh rahay hain... Ki Haq Se Farishton Ne Iqbal Ki Ghammazi..ALLAH pak say farishton nay iqbal ki chighli ki..... Gustakh Hai, Karta Hai Fitrat Ki Hina Bandi ......that He is rude fitrat ko mehndi laganay ki koshish kerta hay even though nature is already so beautiful.... Khaki Hai Magar Iss Ke Andaz Hain Aflaki ...yeh jo iski agay say agay janay ki tarap hay uskay baray main keh rahay hain keh mitti say bana hay per andaaz Asmano ko taskheer kernay walay hain... Rumi Hai Na Shami Hai, Kashi Na Samarqandi ..even though he is not all these great men... Sikhlayi Farishton Ko Adam Ki Tarap Iss Ne .....lekin farishton ko bhi inhon nay insaan ki yeh ALLAH say milnay ki tarap sikhai hay... Adam Ko Sikhata Hai Adaab-e-Khudawandi ...aur adam ko khaudwandi kay adab sikhata hay...

  5. "Rumi Hai Na Shami Hai, Kashi Na Samarqandi" is incorrectly translated. I would welcome a more literal translation in english rather then a poetic one

  6. Rumi, Shami, Kashi, Samarqandi are schools of mysticism. Angels are lamenting that Iqbal does not even belong to any of these schools which explore the mysteries of creation and yet disclosing the superior spirituality of humans over Angels while provoking humans that whatever God is capable of you can also achieve. And this is what is meant by the word Ghustakhi Full interpretation requires much more time and space and an esoteric understanding with hermeneutic reading.

With the noor of Hazrat Yousaf, many hands got cut in Egypt. Here in the shine of Arab everyone is ready to have their heads cut in deep love with the noor-e-Mujassim Hazrat Mustafa SAW. From that time till now, pens halted, broke but Holy Prophet's abilities were kept inexplicable. No one can know the answer because this answer is pregmatically skulked in the question.
